Outside the Flume Empty Outside the Flume

This is where you will be when you enter the world, or right before you leave the world. You are in a cavern. There is a pool of water and a ledge to climb onto. There are strange fruits on the wall, and the only way to get out is to swim underwater, under the rock.

Quigs are around so be careful. The quigs are Sharks. The quigs are always defending the flumes now, and will attack anything in sight.

Outside the Flume Empty Here goes nothin...

Post  crazydogjoe154 Sun Aug 16, 2009 2:21 pm

Demyx was merely following orders. All he knew was that as of yesterday, a some creeper by the name of St. Dane had come through this portal thing buried in the wall of the basement of Castle Oblivion. And with this guy's arrival, a shot at control of the universe. What could be better than that, right? And the means seemed simple enough. So of course Xemnas was all over this idea of using these portals like the one in their basement to travel around the universe... or Halla as St. Dane called it. However, this wasn't a one man job. No sir-ee. Apparently there was more than one world that one could travel to by means of the portal. That's how all the Organization members were dragged into the mess. (Besides a few of them, including Demyx were far to nosy to not have already have found out all the details of Mr. Creepy Eyes and his magical hole in the wall.) Each one of them was to be sent to a territory to cause enough trouble that when a turning point for the territory came around, the territory would be won in their favor.

However, Demyx was a little unsure about the whole thing, especially about the dude with the creepy eyes that came from the hole to who knows where. Plus Xemnas never really took orders from anyone... Hell, he wouldn't even help out with the chores around the castle. He acted like he was above everything, but apparently not above taking orders from St. Dane . But orders were orders to Demyx. He couldn't remember the last time he did something serious or big of his own free will. He didn't know anything else, so it was business as usual. He was to be sent to Coral... or Coral... or whatever Xemnas called it. Supposedly this world was nothing but water, so Demyx could get used to that. Sounded kinda like a tropical paradise. He could get used to that.

Tomorrow morning would be when he would experience this portal for himself for the first time. Not long after Creepy Eyes had arrived, Xemnas had called a meeting of all the Organization members, explained everything, assigned them each a territory, explained the turning point of each one, and then sent them on their way. The meeting was crazy long, and it was late. With a seemingly big day was a head of him tomorrow he decided it was time to hit the hay. He wandered his way up to his resting quarters, stripped down to his boxers, and tumbled into bed. It wasn't long before he was dead to the world.

That night his head was filled with dreams of a world filled with water. It was beautiful. He sat on the edge of a floating city, dangling his legs in the water, playing his guitar; his tunes controlled the water around him into shapes and weaves to the music. However as happy as it seemed, Demyx kept noticing the ominous outline of a man standing out where the water vanished into the horizon. The image twitched and grew, moving at what seemed an impossible speed towards the city. Suddenly he was frightened. Jolting up, he took off running into the city. He dodged though the happy people, almost taking out a few, all the while yelling for people watch out. It was coming. Something was coming. They looked at him as if he was crazy, and smiled ignorantly continuing on their way. They didn't see it. They feel how wrong it felt, and terrifying it was to watch the image twitch on the horizon. He looked back behind him to see the black foggy form of man moving towards him no more than 10 yards away. The form stopped lazily next to a young man buying some sort of fruit from a vendor. The young man smiled and thanked the vendor as he began walked away, unknowing of the black smoke of a man behind him. The image of the abomination twitched again, reaching out towards the young man. It seemed as though the thing was almost like a radio station that wasn't quite set on the right channel as the image was jumpy. As the form reached, Demyx watched in horror as the fruit at the vendor began to rot, and the fruit vendor as well...
"NO!" Demyx yelled, sprinting to the young man's aid. The man turned, suprized. His blue eyes wide at the site of Demyx running twords him. He skidded to a halt between the figure and the blue eyed boy, shoving the boy back onto his butt. As the the contents of the boy's bag flew everywhere, the abomination caught hold of Demyx by the throat lifting him up into the air. Demex gasped for air as the figure dangled him above the ground. He wanted to yell out in pain at the figures toutch, its smokey hand was searing its way though the flesh of his throat, but the yell wouldn't come. It was hard enough just to breathe.
Turning slightly it seemed so Demyx could watch. He pointed towards the blue eyed boy on the ground frozen with fear. Slowly, but steadily he began to rot. In disbelief and terror he held is hands up only to watch them disintegrate before him. It wasn't long before the entirety of him had followed suit and nothing was left but a large pile of ashes. Demyx's eyes were wide with sheer terror at the sight. The figure turned Demyx back towards him tightening his grip. In a desperate attempt Demyx writhed to escape, but his thin wirey body was no match against the freakishly strong grip of the figure.
"Shit shit shit shit shit!" Demyx thought as he couldn't draw anymore air into his lungs. Just as his vision began to tunnel in on him, though the smoke on the figures face he began to see.... eyes. They were a creepy white blue... just like the one's St. Dane had. Just before his vision went completely dark, Demyx jolted back to reality. Breathing heavily and covered in sweat, in tried to calm himself down.
"It was just a dream. It's okay. It was just a dream," he said trying to relax checking to make sure his neck was still there. "Gotta get back to sleep. Gotta big day ahead of us..." He settled back down into bed finally feeling relaxed again, but he couldn't shake the feeling of the dream.... Those eyes.. they still bothered him.
